So it's that time of year again. A new layout on the blog, a new chill in the air. You may even have noticed the new theme. It's very much a nod to my new series, The Lost Imperials, which I've been working hard on of late.
The journey from idea to published novel is such an unbelievably long, grueling, slow process it's almost unreal. I've been living and breathing this book for nearly a year now and it will be about that long before it's on shelves. In November my publisher will begin releasing tidbits from the book. That is covers, trailers, websites, videos, etc. It's the often unseen scaffolding that goes into the launch of a new series. I would like to take a second to thank the amazing team over at Spencer Hill Press (Kate, Patricia, Danielle, Kendra, and Lisa) as well as the web guru D.J. and the best personal assistant EVAH Mary. Also, all the supremely cool people from GearCon who are helping us out (you know who you are!) Without this team of hardworking folks, none of the greatness that's on the way would be possible.
I know, it's driving me crazy too. You know how much I detest waiting and even worse, having a TON of goodies that I can't share yet. All I can say is this.
It's going to be SO worth the wait!
